Question:

Hello! I am currently working overseas, but will be returning to the USA for a five month period before being sent to my next assignment. During that time, I will need to have an IUD removed. Is that covered under any of the temporary insurance plans offered? Thank you!

Answer:

Plans are designed to cover any new illness or injuries that were to occur after the effective date of the policy. No plans on the market will cover preventative care, routine maintenance, or known treatment. Unfortunately, there are no plans available to visitors that would offer that kind of coverage.
